When we tell you that MyTopFace beauty Expert team can sit and talk about coconut oil for hours. There is no exaggeration, we absolutely love it. From what we hear and see everyone loves it. There is a verity of different coconut oils, some better than others. When shopping for coconut oil, depending on what you want to use it for. You want to look for some key words. Virgin or extra virgin, is when the milk is cold pressed from the meat of the coconut. The oil is then separated from the milk. When companies use the word virgin, unrefined, or pure they use the cold press method. Which is considered the purest way to extract coconut oil. When purchasing unrefined (virgin) coconut oil. You get the coconut flavor and aroma that we all love. It’s the best type of oil for cooking purposes. If you are looking for a coconut oil without the nutty coconut flavor and aroma. Refined is the way to go. Refined coconut oil is when the oil has been bleached and deodorized. The oil is extracted from dry coconut meat. The oil goes through a few levels of processing. Heat is used to deodorize and sodium hydroxide is added to prolong shelf life. VirGMO, vegan, and cruelty-free.

Like lip balm, body whips, lotions, shaving cream, and even deodorant. Don’t forget that these homemade remedies have no preservatives, and can easily spoil. Wash hands before dipping your hands in the container or jar. Also avoid getting any water in them, because water carries a lot of bacteria. Water will speed up the spoiling process.
